class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWhen there is an abundance of apples around this is one of our favorite seasonal breads to make.\u00a0 It is pretty simple to put together in the bread machine and turns out a great loaf for toasting.\u00a0 We really like to amp up the apple flavor by toasting it and putting some apple butter on top if we have some.\u00a0 But it is also great with just some butter and honey as well.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-afa4a1a elementor-widget what I had on hand at the time.\u00a0 And although they aren&#8217;t typically listed as one of the preferred baking apples it still turned out good.\u00a0 They had a slight chew to them which we didn&#8217;t mind, especially when the bread was toasted.\u00a0 But I would be curious to try with a &#8220;standard&#8221; baking apple like a Ida, Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-db340e9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"db340e9\" was kind of in a rush and it didn&#8217;t seem to adversely effect the bread at all.\u00a0 I might not want to use all non-peeled apples but I would say the peels actually gave a nice looking pop of class=\"penci-recipe-method\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"penci-recipe-title\">Instructions<\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Cut an 'X' in the bottom of your peaches and place them in some boiling water for about 4 minutes.\u00a0 This will help you remove the skins if you don't want to peel them another way.<\/li>\n<li>Once the skins are removed you can slice them around the pit and separate the halves, and then cut the halves into slices.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Add the sliced peaches, sugar and salt to a saucepan and stir to combine.\u00a0 \u00a0You'll cook the peach mixture for about 5 minutes or until the peaches start to break down and the sugar is all dissolved.<\/li>\n<li>- If you're using canned peaches this is where you'll jump into the recipe.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Cut your butter into tablespoon pieces and add them to the bottom of a 9 x 13 in baking dish.\u00a0 And then add your dish to the preheating oven until the butter is melted and is slightly browned.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">In a bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Mix in the milk, until the batter is smooth, but don't over mix.
